As I mentioned earlier, the Soulman's Bar-B-Que restaurant is a unique western architectural eatery with all the fixings in an unlikely location in Greenville Texas. I was impressed with all the customer traffic this location had the evening I walked in to get a bite to eat for the night. I saw this place while driving to the Best Western Plus, and when asked the receptionist about this place. She gave some rave reviews, so I knew I was going to try it. I walked to this restaurant to get a view of our from the street and I liked the architectural design as well as the lighting. However, once you get inside you senses are blasted with the aroma of barbecue and the charm of the decorative Western theme. I noticed the staging area for the food prep, which made it difficult to decide what to eat. But I went with the pork sandwich combo with two sides and a drink. It took some time to freaky decide because everything was so good and I was hungry. The staff was friendly and very professional at preparing the meals. And believe it or not there was a lot of people waiting to order, so this place really draws a crowd even late at night. Really enjoyed the food.

Overall really good. The potatoes and meat was great, but the sides were mediocre. If you’re craving some decent priced bbq, this place is good. Lots of food for the price, and tasted fresh.
